Jeremy, I made some calls on your behalf, you can thank me later.

Called Ground Force and chatted with them about buying the front coils only from the 9984 kit. They will sell them for $186, p/n 11935. Call (724) 430-2068, ask for Daric. I told him I already bought some used BT rear coils and didn't want to spend $800 on the GF kit since I only needed front coils.

http://www.groundforce.com/vehicle.a...ake=Ram%201500

Then, Stylintrucks has the rear coils only for $137. That would pretty much cover it. My Belltech kit came with 4 coils and 4 bump stops, so you really don't need anything else. I assume you won't need front bump stops for the 4wd since GF doesn't include any bump stops. I would just cut down the factory rear bump stops if needed, the ones that came with my kit look like shorter versions of the stock ones. Rent you a spring compressor for the front and $60 for an alignment and you're dropped for about $400.

Just 4 coils will do it.

Here is my lengthy email i sent you if anyone else want to chime in with their opinion.

Quote:
It’s funny, all 3 companies have a slightly different parts list for the rear setup.

McG includes coils and a track bar relocation bracket, which keeps the axle centered left to right. Mine is maybe pushed a ¼” to the right, not really noticeable unless you start measuring, especially with stock tires. My Coopers are more square and wider than the stockers and makes it a little more noticeable, but only to anal people like me. Plus they have one of the holes in the wrong spot and you have to modify it. When talking with GF and BT, they also agree it’s not necessary. Dallas Hotrod Parts has solutions to center the axles if you decide you want to do that (posted by Adidas_kn). I might look into it for my truck just because. I have attached pics of this so you can see the difference, if you can even tell in the pics.

http://dallashotrodparts.com/09dodgenotch.html

GF includes coils and sway bar spacers for the rear. I guess this somehow makes the sway bar level, but I don’t see how that’s possible. IMO, shorter end links would be a better solution. The ends of my sway bar are pushed down a little, but it’s not going to affect the operation of the sway bar one bit. IMO, these aren’t needed. (See attached pic)

My BT kit just includes 4 coils and 4 bump stops. I don’t know if the McG kit includes bump stops or not, but I know GF does not. I don’t think you will need them for the front on a 4WD and you can just trim the rears if needed.

As for the shocks, McGs doesn’t offer them and they are an option for BT. I used my stock shocks, they are fine for me. GF only includes shocks for the rear, you use the stock struts on the front.

So, IMO (for whatever that’s worth) I would just get the 4 coils and be done with it.
