[B]FLOMASTER 40 CATBACK EXHAUST[B]
I was kind of hesitant going with flowmaster but I am glad I did. When I first drove it and played around with it I did notice an increase in power not a big increase but enough to notice it. I filled the tank up last night and did my regular commute to work and back with the truck instead of car pooling and noticed I am now getting (according to EVIC) 16-17 instead of the normal 14-15 mix of 90% highway and 10% city at a 70mph speed with cruise. I will post calculated mpg after I fill up but so far this was a very nice decision. I also do not have a drone which is one of the things I was worried about so that is a good thing as well and it sounds REALLY GOOD

I replaced a flow40 with the at3030 because when I bought the truck the exhaust rattled on acceleration and I guessed it to be a broken baffle. The previous owner had cut off the cats and used 2.5" pipe instead of 3 in their place. I Replaced the muffler and it still rattled only a lot louder, lol. So I had to add a resonator to quiet it down. The flow40 sounds like a beast on the rams, great mod

I like it I have not experienced the rattle that you mentioned. I put in a K&N Filter in my trucks air box last night. The box said increase in hp and acceleration which I found odd since it was not a CAI. They were right when I drove it home but it was not anything really big but small enough to notice with the exhaust as well. My low end and mid have increased greatly which I love because it works out great for towing. My top end though I really have not noticed much of a difference which does not upset me because top end was not my goal.

I think the rattle was due to the crap job on the cats removal and not the muffler

You would think they would and that sounds like they rushed through it a little bit with yours.
