one way or another this bumper is going on but its probably going to cost me a buttload at a fab shop for them to build brackets

Just go get some angle iron an build them yourself

1) i don't have a welder, cutoff wheel, or anything else needed 2) it's going to take a lot more than just that... try holding a 175lb bumper by yourself and building brackets and i might even have to cut the front of the frame horns off (if that's the case i'm going to get a different bumper) or modify the crap out of the bumper so they'll fit

Yeah need the proper tools... could just rent them. And use jacks to hold the bumper up

the bottom is angled i would scratch the bumper up the only way to really hold it up would be strapping it to a cherry picker plus i don't know of anyone that rents welders by the time i rent all this equipment it would be just the same to take it to a fab shop where someone that has far higher skill set to make them

Yeah if its gonna be the same price then do it that way, but i just thought if it saved some money then that would be the way to go

so the manufacturer wont make you brackets? thats shit. one would think that they would support all models or at least all customers. i wouldnt think some brackets would be too hard or expensive for any shop.
