FEELER: Bestop PowerBoards for 09-12 Crew Cabs

I have thoughts going through my head of selling my Bestop PowerBoards and lowering my truck. Is there any interest in my steps? They have only been on the truck for a few months and would be considered like new still. You would have to get the Riv-Nuts if you don't already have them installed on your truck from factory steps. I think the kit was about $30 from the dealer but you could probably call Bestop and get them for much cheaper. I would have to have about $750 shipped for the steps.

They will fit all 2009-12 1500 crew cabs, and 2010-12 2500/3500 crew cab trucks.

Craigslist would be your best bet, post up there and see what happens

is it bad that the same exact thought ran through my head the other day?

Do it! Not sure what your options are though since you are a 4x4.

Oh, and I placed my order for the Belltech kit today. :Rock on:

What's funny is my wife didn't push back at all on me lowering the truck, but she didn't like the fact that I wanted to get rid of the steps, she has really grown to like them. So, they might be staying on. I measured and after the lowering kit, they will be about 7" off the ground, so they might actually be somewhat helpful.

Buy that woman some flowers and chocolate! My wife always makes me sell the one thing before I buy the next...although I did convince her taking the truck to Vegas would be better despite the gas mileage and that since we were I needed a soft tri-fold tonneau...should be here first thing next week. :D

Sounds like we are both pretty lucky guys! That's how I got the BT catch can, told her it would help the truck on our Florida road trip. :D

Any luck with the ad yet?

I have decided to keep them for now. After the drop, they will still be 7" off the ground and will be helpful for shorties. Plus, they are really cool!
