Morgan, just saw in your garage that you have a 180 stat - would you do it again? Thinking of doing that on mine.......

I sure would. It keeps the truck a little peppier once fully warmed up, which is about 174 in this cold weather. It hasn't seemed to affect MPG either way. It's great in the summer while towing since it keeps the oil a little cooler. I saw nearly 240 degree oil temps last summer when pulling my boat. I might also install an oil cooler this spring to help more with that, I can't believe they don't come standard.

Easy install? just get a bucket for the overflow, and some extra HOAT? all good to go?

I didn't try and save any coolant. If you move fast you won't lose much. Just remove the 2 13mm bolts holding the housing on the engine while holding it in place, then in one quick motion pull it away, remove the stock stat then drop in the new one. I think it took about a 1/2 gallon of water to top mine off. You should use distilled water, but I just used some filtered water from my fridge.

It's cheaper than what I paid from Moes. I know you have to pay sales tax too when you buy from him...

Well..........and I'll have it this week. No clue when it would show if I bought from Moe's.
