Hit 5K today

Purchased the truck on April 19th, so about 8.5 months to get there.

Yup, as many as I can! Its bittersweet......the forums brought me business, and I do that work during the weekends most of the time. But, things might change a bit as I get my work area built downstairs. If I can figure out (within my price range) a nice way to get a table top paint booth and paint stripper......well, that would cut my time considerably.

I'm driving my 05 that my dad bought from me when bought the 08. Only has 54k on it. Think it only had 46 or 48k on it at the time. Definitely still love the truck. The seats are sooooo comfy.

Well, some would say 5K in 9 months is crazy too... Thats a heck of a payment to not be using the darn thing lol.

But seriously we live about 30 miles from Gainesville, and 10 miles from the Town that has the walmart, so 100 miles a day or so is about what we do in it, and highway trips to Tampa at least once a month add about 250 a pop, we use this thing lol!

At 22 I had just bought my second truck, it was a 2001 S-10 ZQ8 and I loved it...until I needed a full size.

Before that was the truck I had from 15 until just before I turned 22...an '84 S-10 long bed. I have yet to put as much money in my second, third, and fourth trucks COMBINED as I did in that thing:

My first 2 cars were given to me, I put radios in 'em........nothing crazy. I didn't start modding until about.....3 months before I got my 08 Ram. I put a LOT of $$ into my 99 Exploder - then got rid of it. I don't even want to think about the $$ I've put into the Rams.

I had that little long bed completely re-painted, ran three different sets of wheels at any given time, new trans when it blew, new motor when it blew, a ROCKING sound system (15 speakers, including one 12" sub, but nothing obvious or gaudy looking like the little kick panels in the floor), about a dozen different headunits along the way, dropped it, lifted it, dropped it again, updated front end, headlight conversion, and the list goes on and on and on.

Wow!!! I'm actually on my 4th and 5th vehicle.

First was a 93 Sonoma Short Bed. Truck ran good till I wrecked it then traded that on a 2000 Dakota till it started to head south. Then got my 2000 Blazer and then it started to run south after I modded it by doing a CAI and cat back exhaust. Then traded that on my ram when the blazer didn't want to start. In the middle of all that while I had my blazer for graduation I got my mustang.
