Guess what I got last night?

While thinking of dropping my truck...........I thought this "if the drop runs me about 4-500, cool.......if I decide against it, I'll take that $$ and get me some painted to match OEM flares."

So, yesterday - I was set to drop about 400 on 'em. Last time I called on them (about a year ago), I was quoted 350-375 shipped to my door. Brand new, OEMs, painted - and all the hardware to install. I attempted multiple times to call Art at Henson's yesterday. 3 times that is. "I'll give him the message" - well.......I called at 9:30, 12:30 and at 4. F it. I even attempted to send him an IM - nothing. Emailed him too. Nothing. :upyours: Guess you don't want my fuggin' money. Whatever.

So, I popped on Mopar-Wholesale last night to buy them. I didn't see the colors listed..........which concerned me. So, I figured I'd look on eBay and see if anyone had them, with part numbers, etc. I stumbled onto an auction for a set of used flares, 2 1/2 hours left of the auction. :D

Yeah, no mounting hardware, but......whatever! HELL of a lot cheaper than what I was looking to spend. And, if they have any blemishes - mr painter will get them. I'm sure he'd make me a hell of a deal on them (as he is with my other upcoming mods!!)

I know Dave offered help, but thats 100 miles away........and the time to do it right now just isn't there. I'm doing approx 3 sets of lights a weekend. (WHOOHOOO) - but damn, I'm beat!

Oddly enough, I have no lights on the plans after next weekend, but I sold 4 this week......LOL - hit or miss. Gotta get mine done next weekend too. BRING IT ON!!

Your lights are a different story though as doing something for your own truck will be a nice change.

Packaged right up against each other, left to rub the entire way from KS to here........and of course, one has paint rubbed off of it.

yeah, its all good. I still won't have that much in them when its done - and maybe he can get rid of the texture........I have looked at these flares before and didn't realize how much texture was on them (unless someone painted these.......). I'll look up the part numbers later tonight.

Asked the painter how much to paint them. And......I'm an idiot, they are the wrong color. Derrr. Paint $$ is a bit more than I want to spend. I'll flip these on DT and make me some $$.

max $200. can't use the same paint we normally use - and the other stuff is REALLY pricey. That, plus flex agent, plastic primer, etc........I can sell these, turn a profit on them - and buy the others and be ok.

Laramie. 09/10 had "light gray" as their color. I neglected to remember that.......LOL
