I've had this Plasti-Dip for like 2 weeks now and have not been able to use it.. So today I took the Ram head off the front and preped the tailgate ram head.. I have to plasti something it's killing me.. Every time I go to do the rims it rains or something comes up.

Might have some questions to you that have plasti some stuff as far as materials and prep goes.

Alright I got the front one done everything went perfect... Went to do the back one and as soon as I started spraying it started piss pour raining on me.....10% chance of rain in the entire state of NY and that 10% landed on me at that excact moment. Now we have rain for a week straight....Will finish up when weather permits.

Thanks guys.. No garage David Just a basement. I was thinking about doing the inserts but didn't know if it would look goofy? I was going to wait till I get the painted grill to do that but while I'm waiting I might as well try it. I might have some time to do it tonight. I'll post pics when done.

I was waiting on a guy who has one of an 06 but dude won't answer my calls anymore. So i'm just going to order one online. Sucks cuz this guy only wanted 40 bucks for it..But I took the grill off the truck and I am waiting on my first coat of PD to dry so I will have pics installed first thing in the morning.

Looks good! It tones down the overbearing amount of chrome on the front.

A painted grill and color matched headlights would look great!

Thanks guys. Yeah I agree it tones down the massive amount of Chrome. And everytime I look at it I like it more. Should have the grill shell in a few days. Then it has to be painted. And I'm still debating color matched heads just don't know. Regardless I'm getting projectors installed.

Should I debadge the truck or plasti The other badges?

Very nice dude, personally I like things debadged, I think it looks cleaner that way, but u could always take some of the badges off and leave some and paint the ones u leave on.

Welp took the tailgate off today...It's piss pour raining so got it in the basement. I went ahead and used plasti on the ram head the big horn and the 4x4. I have a feeling i'm just going to debadge but just wanted to see what it looks like blacked out. I'll have pics up real soon.

Also Got my LED Smoke/Red Tail lights on their way.. I'll have pic's of the talegate in the morning..It turned out pretty awesome.

That's what I'm trying to decide I was going to do the RAM in black but to tell the truth I think it would look better debadged..But I want to leave the ram head on the back and scrap the BH and 4x4.. So maybe scrap everything but the hemi badge and the ram head on the T-gate?

If it were me (and this is coming from someone as debadged as possible w/out body work) I would pull everything off except the Ram head and 4x4 badges. However, without any other badges, it might not make sense to leave the 4x4.

Yeah that's what I was thinking..If I pull the BH then I would want to pull the 4x4 cuz it would throw off the look of the back...I'm the type of guy if one of my remotes for the tv is not lined up with the other remotes it wiggs me out..So that off balance look would kill me.. So the ram head stays and everything else is gone! need to get the handles painted tho

IDK Jeremy. I don't ever use the back of the truck at all but i've rubbed the plasti on the grill pretty good and didn't peel or anything.. Few people have it done to there step rails.. Only time can tell

if you don't like it it will come off.. It peels pretty good. But you don't have to worry about it coming off on it's own my grill has held up really good with this stuff. and the bed is still hanging in there even after the torture test.

I threw a hammer from back to front of the bed like 6 times rubbed my feet back and forth on it(not with a ton of pressure but a good amount) Power washed it this afternoon. and it has help up perfect it did scratch but did not peel and you cannot see paint just scars from where I was throwing the hammer. almost like the black faded where the hammer hit.
