Red light, green light, orange light, black light :party36:

Dr Seuss come to mind?

Anyway - took the day off, cracked open 6 sets of lights and painted 8 bezels. The orange set I started with a few weeks ago (still waiting on halos to come in for that set) - had some paint issues, so I repainted it. :D

So, here's all of them lined up (well, half of 'em!)

Red light (Flame Red)

yeah, the customer asked me if I wanted to do the first set of green. I'm game!

I called the dealer to get paint, no part number yet. BAH! Bastards.......so I went and found some duplicolor stuff that was very close - went to the dealer to pick up some other paint......and wouldn't you know it - they had the green. Didn't bother calling to tell me. Oh well, I'm glad they had it - its darker than the stuff I found (even though the paint chip things were almost dead on).

:D

you know...........I might be able to run down to the vinyl shop and see if they have some VERY thin vinyl to go over it. I'm not comfortable "tinting" it with paint - no matter how its done, it always seems to be too dark.

Do they make clear reflectors for the 06-08's?

I'll see what I can do - the place is only open during the times that I work, but I might work from home one day this week and head over there for a bit. :D I want to ask them a few other questions anyway.

They all look great bud.

So those black ones are for RH? What if you could get some vinyl to match that had the tiniest little holes in it? Kind of like perforated? That way it would look black most of the time unless lit.

I am going to go to a vinyl shop this week - I have some ideas. :D. And yes - those are RH's

I know it's too late, but a tinted marker light would have looked nice in there, however, those almost look like they could be a factory option.

Yeah, after I go to the vinyl shop this week and see what they have........I might may have another option for people. :D

I like the honeycomb idea too - but I wonder if they have any black reflective vinyl. LOL - we'll see. Something where it keeps the reflective "needs" but gets rid of the orange.

I like that idea and I'd be willing to guess that any reputable shop has something like that.
