My brother, who turns 16 in August, just acquired a 96 Ram, regular cab, short bed with a 360. It has mismatched rims on it and needs new tires so him and my mom are considering putting some decent rims on it. Does anyone have a nice set of rims in the Oklahoma area for sale? I was thinking of maybe some 3rd gen 20" flower petals or even the 06-08 20s, and of course aftermarket and not limited to 20s. Slightly beat up or curb rashed will be fine, since this is his first truck, they might even get plasti-dipped.

Please let me know what you have available with price and pics.

I think you've got to grind down the hub and open up the center of the flower petals to get them to fit a 2nd gen. I saw a thread on another forum where a guy did it

I did not know that. I know I have seen 2nd gens rolling around on flower petals, I just assumed they would fit. Shouldn't be a problem though...

You definitely have to hone out the center for factory 20s to fit.

I sold the 20's of my 04 ram to a guy with a 99 ram and they fit on his perfect... is there a big difference between 96-99?
