Everything else is reading good but I am in serious doubts that a Ram 2500 4x4 5.7L Hemi with the 4.10 gears gets 17.3mpg when I normally get 15 on my 10 mile commutes. It said the day I filled up yesterday that I averaged 13mpg after towing 10,000lbs of Car and furniture well that one I did hand calculate to 12.8 after towing. I really have to calculate the 17.3 when I fill up tomorrow morning from full to full just to see if it did or not. I will post my findings tomorrow evening.

52.4 miles / 3.064 Gallons = 17.1 mpg which would make my EVIC off by .2 which is not a bad fuel economy for a 2500 Crew Cab Hemi 4x4. I will gladly take that lol. Calculated that this morning on the way to work.

Hell, I barely get that in my 1/2 ton 2wd. Great numbers!

I towed around 6000 today with my truck and the evic said I dropped down to 13.8. The temperature has been going down slowly day by day as well and I have heard a possibility of more snow possible in the coming week or so which means I will be back to 13-15ish mpg and probably down to 11 if it does snow enough where 4x4 is needed.

I believe the reason I am getting these numbers is I do not really WOT accelerate it or accelerate much above 2-2500 rpm range. The truck gets up and goes well on its own with the 4.10s enough and does not need me to get over the rpm mentioned. That is my theory anyway. Now if I am in one of those moods where I want to floor it then yeah lol it will be lower.

Yep, keep your foot out of it and they do well, but I struggle with that...
