I'm sitting here........waiting for the wife to get home. She had an open house at her school today, and I am here watching movies with the kiddos.

But........when she gets back, my hands are going to be all over some headlights! :big_banana_Dance:

Just farted around most of the day. It was nice out today, so I spent 45 minutes vacuuming out the 05 Ram, then went to town and pay n spray'd the salt off of it. On the way back, I stopped and drooled over the fuschia chally that I want at the local Dodge dealer. Now I'm back home. Prolly do some cleaning now.

Hmmm.. I cleaned the house , did luandry, went grocery shopping, gased the vechicles up and cleaned out the fireplace getting it ready... got candles and flashlights and blankets ready..... I think Ive got everything done now... just waiting on this storm to trap me in :D hopefully we dont loose power but I got some games out too :D Oh Oh .. I have marshmallows too :D

my mom just called. she lives an hour west of me........they have 5" of snow already. we have.........lots of ice and sleet!

I'm glad we didn't get much ice. We do have over a foot of snow though with some nearly 3' deep drifts...

I worked half a day today, that was my plan, but they also decided to close work early anyways, so it all worked out. We're still getting lots of sleet and the ice is cracking on the trees. I will be surprised if we don't lose power sometime. Not much snow yet, but they are calling for 12-17".

So I've pushed a total of five vehicles out so far, two of them this morning around five on my way to work...sometimes I ask why I even bother. One yesterday tried to turn around once I got in to leave and got stuck again...sorry buddy, you get one push. If you're too stupid to realize you're going to get stuck again, that's on you.

I can't believe it.........

Shoveled off 2" of ice (pellets of freakin' ice) off the driveway last night. Put down salt, expecting 6-10" of snow. We got........1-2? Gotta love it.

My parents (1 hour away) - 15" of snow. I-70 is closed from Wentzville (about 45 minutes west of STL) all the way to KC! 200 miles of I-70 shut down. Thats nutz!

I'm back at work again. Didn't leave until after 9 last night and then took me two hours to get home since I went to a buddy's house to help him get his truck out of the street and into his driveway. Tonight, barring a woman with children, I'm not pushing anyone out.

I hear you on pushing people out. A few years ago, I pushed quite a few people out.....on my short drive home. Until someone almost hit the truck. Forget it, I'm going home and parking this thing! :D

They closed down all the roads to my house so I stayed with a buddy. This morning I was pulling out 10 or so people out of their stuck situation and we had some pretty big drifts. I had fun though my truck is completely awesome with 4x4 on i was driving through snow that was almost up to my grill and it kept going with very little slippage. I am impressed. I still have not been able to go home yet though lol.


That is what I did yesterday and today.

Really Morgan? I have put my truck in situations that should have had me stuck and it hasn't even flinched. I have to say that someone at Chrysler really thought the traction control out on these things. I have the stock Good-for-a-years and even with them my truck keeps kicking ass.

Well, it was mostly my fault. I got a little carried away and thought I could plow through the snow without shoveling it all away first. I made it out of the driveway but it wouldn't get back up without some shoveling, 4wd would have pulled me right up. I'm just a little impatient and lazy when it comes to shoveling snow. Other than that, it does kick ass, especially with my Cooper Zeons.

But, I used it Sunday and Saturday (behind the shop........I got stuck like a damn fool). I used it when I took my offroad pics too. :D But, I will say the traction control is pretty damn good too!

Just went to the grocery store to get some stuff so my wife could make cookies, yummmm. Truck did great! I aired down my tires to 32 lbs and put all 5 of my sand bags in the bed (only had 2 back there) and now it's a beast!

Well I made it home a couple of hours ago. My truck made the snow so much fun I can not wait for the next storm despite not being able to go home due to closed roads. :)

Woke up about 3 am this morning. James had just gotten home from work. Power was out. Power came back on around 10am today after he got the generator hooked up of course LOL House had gotten down to 58 degrees.


Had to take our generator over to my parents cuz theirs wasn't working and they were going on 12 hours without power and it was getting really cold in their house.

oh and work was closed today.

Back to work as well... With my wife being at home with me the last 2 days, I didn't get hardly anything done. I worked at home until August of last year while our new building was being built and loved it but now that I have a nice peaceful office at work, I would rather be here than at home.

It also seems like I don't eat as much junk food throughout the day...
