I just bought a seat heater and some seat padding to cut and mold into my seat. I am excited to have heated seats for the first time ever :driver:

As well as there couple mods, my towing mirror should be here any day so I can piece together my broken one and this one to have one pretty nice and new towing mirror.

I do believe that is it for tonight, but I will leave you with this thought. What do you think about this truck?

I've never thought much of it, but those seat heaters sound like a great idea when I go outside at 5am to head to work. I thought you were getting rid of the truck though?

As for that truck, it's just a matter of how much you want a Hemi. You have a LOT done to your truck, but if those mods can be moved over and it won't kill you with a higher payment, go for it.

nice deal on the mods!

I wouldn't pay 14K on a truck with 107K on the clock though..........

yeah, but not a Hemi. Yeah, they'll run a while and last - but I hate the idea of a 14K payment on something with that amount of miles.

I agree Jeremy

I am trying to sell the truck. But I don't know if that will happen. And the seat needed some padding replaced. So why not throw in a seat heater while I am at it to help with the resale value.

I understand what you guys are saying. But I owe nothing on my truck. That is why I like the idea of selling it for 13k and having all of that as a down payment. I think I could get a payment for close to nothing, I just can't find the right truck. I would love a CTD, but I doubt that I could afford one. If I could get an 03-04 with the 5.9 CTD 4 door 4x4 I would be in heaven.

Other than that I want an 05 hemi 4 door 4x4 as well, so I have full tuning ability.

whats bad..........last April I would have sold you my 08 for the residual on it. $20K, 12K miles on it. Leather, sunroof, hemi, 4x4........all that jazz. BUT, I ended up getting 24,500 on "trade" when I got the new one. :D

Yeah, and then the dealership tried to sell it for more than what you paid new, right?

Yup. I paid 26,500 for it......they listed it for 29,995 or something stupid like that.

Truck prices fluctuate like crazy. My 04 that I traded in last year was worth about $8-10k trade-in and now it's closer to $14k...

The other thing I thought of is how hot the used market was for a while...an '08 with only 12k on the clock probably looked pretty good. Especially a 4x4 that had seen less mud than a Ferrari.

surprised too.......with gas being 3 bucks a gal.

that didn't last long. A member on DT said he saw my truck in south STL after it sold. It was COVERED in mud. LOL

He said "they even left the decals on the back window" - which is how he knew it was mine. No other truck in MO had a DT and Mopar Underground sticker on it. (MU is a private site ran by an x-dt mod out in NE US)
