well, I owe the state a bit............nothing crazy, but federal - yippie! I didn't get as much as I did last year, but still.........more than I have in mods to my truck already. :D

I got a new wireless mouse for home, and then got a mouse / keyboard combo for work. :D

LOL you all do taxes ??? I have a guy , he does our books . But havent gotten my W-2 yet but its already spent on a 2 week Disney vacation .

Yes I do my own taxes. I pay ~50 bucks and it literally takes me about..........30-40 minutes and I'm done with everything. and I can do it from my couch.

That's what I was thinking. My dad has his done, but he's part owner in two companies and owns a bunch of rental properties.

I do my own too. Just a few w2s, mortgage stuff, student loan interest, and goodwill donations is about all we have. Still gonna owe about $500 overall...

Oh, I have a home office deduction too. I not only deduct my office, but the the stairs and hallway leading to the office and the bathroom next to my office. Gotta piss during work hours right?

I use turbo tax btw. I saw a commercial for H&R block's online tax prep and thought I might give that a shot for comparison. Never know...

I use Turbo Tax online. A few years ago I did like.......12 of the online ones - TT came up with the most $$ back.
