Jeremy, what do you know about Charger HIDs? I need a regular ole HID kit for the Charger low beams. Only thing I know is the bulbs are 9006. Do these require a relay harness? Since I have to pull the bumper on this car to get to the lights I only want to do this once. Can you get me a price for whatever I need through your super wholesale guy?

To get the headlights out of the avenger you have to pull the bumper too, and the avenger is the minicharger.

I think you can get to the bulbs through the wheel well. You do have to pull the bumper to remove the lights though. I want 5000k bulbs on this one....

I'm a little jealous my self since I don't get to drive it every day. Funny thing is, when I bought my 04 in January of 08 they had this exact car sitting in the showroom that I drooled over. It was marked over $50k which included some fluff for "market adjustment." Took me 3 years, but I finally own it!

Sorry for the dealyed reaponse. A buddy of mine boufht me a kit from an ebay vendor that alot of guys use for like 50 but if you want to use a true company ddm tuning is good. Includes anti flicker capacitor, relay and bulb. Let me know if you wanna go that way and ill get you the ifo

There's an extensive thread about DDM on the other site...I've never used their lights personally, but plenty seem to be happy with them.

truck and charger are a bit different.

Your 04 requires a bunch of crap..........the Charger has a low and high beam, which makes things a LOT easier to play with.

DDM, HIDExtra, etc - all have had numerous threads around the forum worlds......and all seem to be ok or horrible. LOL

I go with service. I don't mind spending the money on an item that has a warranty and a PERSON I can get ahold of. Not some kid in California that doesn't care.

But, not going to "bash" the other product either. :D

I tried a ddm kit on my truck and the anti-flicker stuff does not work, i still have them sitting here collecting dust.

I havr never personally used ddm but i know on my kit the polarity is reversed for the anti flicker capacitors

I tried them both ways lol (no explosions), I even tried them on the avenger when I was putting hids in that, still nothing, I dont think they work with the can-bus systems.

Lol. I hope I don't need them, but a 425 hp 6.1L running through 2 small mufflers can get pretty loud! The exhaust will be similar to the truck with 2 14" magnaflows with no resos. If the drone on the charger isn't bad I might pull the resos on the truck too...

I sell HIDs now. :D Well, I'm a vendor under Retro-Solutions. Might as well, I buy a shitload from him anyway. Figured it would tie in nicely to my vendorship on RamForum now. :D

I bit the bullet and ordered them. I still might get HIDs for the lows depending on the light output of the Oracles. The Charger doesn't get driven long distances at night nearly as often as the truck so I am mostly going for looks and a little more output.
